The Tower of Hera is the third dungeon of the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It is one of the three dungeons that house the Pendants of Virtue. Its pendant is the Pendant of Wisdom. It is the Light World equivalent of Ganon's Tower. The tower is located on the summit of Death Mountain, just north of Spectacle Rock. The only way in is to travel to the Dark World and back using the Magic Mirror.
The Tower of Hera is known as the Mountain Tower in the GBA Version of the game.

Layout

The stage is in a pyramid shape, and there is a place to be fall off of the stage, to the left and right corners of the stage. At the very base of the tower is a small rocky area, which is part of the mountain that leads up to the Tower of Hera. The stage appears to be normal, but if you look, dark fog surrounds certain parts of this large stage. Touch these, and you fall in, and then get spat out in some other area of the stage. Also, there are crystals on the stage which cause colored blocks to appear and begin moving. Hit them once to turn them on, hit them again to turn them off.

Hazard #1:
|
Pits |
On the stage, dark patches of fog indicate where pits are on the stage. Go in one, and you’ll come out of another, suffering about 5% damage, however.

Hazard #2:
|
Crystal Switches |
Colored crystals appear near the walls of the stage. Hit one, and it glows a color, which summons a block of that color. There are five colors: Red, Blue, Green, Orange, and Black. Red blocks move up and down, nothing special. Blue blocks move from side to side. Green blocks move in an odd zigzag pattern. Orange blocks circle around and around. Black blocks do nothing, but they deal 3% of shadow damage on contact with them.
