Pallet Town is where players of Generation I games, as well as several other notable Trainers, start their Pokémon journeys in Kanto. It is based on Machida, Tokyo, Satoshi Tajiri's hometown; but its location on the map better corresponds to somewhere in the Shizuoka Prefecture.
The town in the video games is located in western Kanto, nestled between Route 1 to the north and Route 21, a water route, to the south.

The stage’s middle is flat, but the building that is typically your house in most Pokémon games. Out of this house, dash eager Pokémon Trainers ready to start their journeys. The Trainers ride bikes, and they ride down to the lab. After a while, the trainers will dash to the middle of the stage and drive into the background. There, the trainers can be seen having a battle with their rival, who ambushes them. The Pokémon attacks are dangerous to the players, so look out. The lab can be walked on as well, allowing for some refuge from the attacks of the Trainers.

Hazard #1:
|
Pokémon Trainers |
Pokémon Trainers, excited to start their journey, will run out of the house on the left, and then run towards the lab to obtain their first Pokémon. After a short while, they’ll leave the lab, presenting a hazard once more. They ride bikes, so they aren’t exactly slow…

Hazard #2:
|
Pokémon Battle!! |
Sometimes, a Trainer will be ambushed by their Rival, and they’ll engage in a Pokémon battle. There are three Pokémon that either Trainer will use. Bulbasaur will use a Seed Bomb, but the Rival’s Charmander will knock it aside easily. The Seed Bomb will fly into the sky and then separate into multiple seeds that make smaller explosions upon impact with the ground. Charmander will always attempt Flamethrower, but Squirtle will deflect it with its shell. The Flamethrower will hit the stage, and last for about three seconds. Squirtle will always try Withdraw, but Bulbasaur will kick the Squirtle onto the stage. Squirtle will stay in his shell, doing nothing, but if he is kicked, he acts like a Koopa shell. However, he’ll recover in no time and jump back into battle.
