Mario Circuit is the name of various race courses attributed to Mario as his own in the Mario Kart Series. Indeed, these courses bear some features ligated to the plumber, as his red Cap, the Mushrooms he uses; Princess Peach's Castle, where the hero sets out his adventures in many games; Warp Pipes, and sometimes, enemies like Goombas and Piranha Plants, Mario's common enemies, with no mentioning the banners that say his famous name. Apart from Mario Kart, the Mario Circuit has presented in other series such as Itadaki Street DS and Super Smash Bros Brawl, where it can be considered a stage held for other various purposes.

Layout
|
The stage is a busy looking stage, but in reality, not too much happens. The middle of the track is dangerous due to Kart racers that drive by. There is a platform that is carried by a crew of Lakitus the floats directly above the main course. These Lakitus aren’t that strong though, and they’ll drop the platform if someone stands on it too long, and that time decreases quicker the heavier the character. To the right and left of the track, there is a short brick road that leads to large house that you can stand on and use as an extremely high platform. The only problem though is that it’s really close to the KO Border. In the background, there a cheering crowds of generic Mario characters. They cheer you on, but they go silent when Karts are approaching, which also driven by generic Mario characters. In the background, there is a replica of Peach’s Castle, and rainbow colored hot air balloons with the words, “Mario” on them and an 8-bit sprite of Mario himself. The sign posts also have things such as 8-bit Question Mark Blocks on them or 8-bit Pipes. The whole scene is bright, sunny, and celebratory.

Hazards

|
Hazard #1:
|
Karts |
Unfortunately, your fighting isn’t the main attraction; the Kart racers are. These Kart racers will drive by and run you over if you stand in the road. They deal the same amount of damage and knockback that they did in Brawl. You’ll know when the Karts will show up because the crowd stops cheering and watches the where the drivers will come from intently. When the Karts return, the crowd will cheer intensely, so that’s your cue to run!

Hazard #2:
|
Lakitu Platform |
That concrete platform that the Lakitus carry helps sometimes, but if you stand on it for too long, they’ll drop it because you are too heavy for them to carry. Also, the heavier your character, the less time you’ll be able to stand on their platform. Also, if the Lakitus drop the platform on another’s head, it deals a nasty 13% damage to that player.
