Donkey Kong Jungle
Updated - September 27, 2009

Donkey Kong Jungle is the name of a Baseball Stadium used in Mario Superstar Baseball. It is located on Donkey Kong Island, and, as such, is Donkey Kongs stadium. The stadium takes place in a jungle, with a river passing through the stadium. Although the stadium is still a standard Baseball field, the river is full of Klaptraps, who will try to bite the fielders, making them slow down. There are also two Barrel Cannons, which are located on both sides of the back of the arena. It will shoot out Barrels at the fielders, which will imobilize them for a few seconds. There is no real threat to the batters. In Challenge Mode, Donkey Kong's Team are challenged in Donkey Kong Jungle. DK Jungle is also where the Mini-Game, Barrel Batter, is hosted.

Layout
The stage is mostly flat, with some small bumps in the ground around 2nd base. The stage has no falling KO areas, so you must knock players offscreen or into the sky. The Barrel Cannon in the background launches Klaptraps into the stage. The river in the middle can slightly slow down players who walk through it.
Hazards
Hazard #1: Klaptraps The Barrel Cannon in the background fires Klaptraps onto the main part of the stage. The Klaptraps simply wander about the stage, not attempting to attack anyone in particular. If you get within two Bowser lengths away from the Klaptrap, he will immediately dash at you in an attempt to bite you. If you are bitten, he latches onto you, slowing you down. In addition, the Klaptrap deals 1% damage for every 2 seconds that he is latched on, so get him off quickly. To get him off, you may jump in the water, and the rapids wash away the Klaptrap. This also works even when they aren't attached to anyone.
