Delfino Airstrip

The Delfino Airstrip is where tourists first come to when visiting Isle Delfino, as this is where planes land. It is a simple landing strip built on small islets in the waters near Delfino Plaza. Travelers can reach the mainland via small boats.

Layout
|
The stage's layout is fairly simple. The actual airstrip extends to the main part of the stage and acts as a step. On both sides, the sand on the beach you fight on curves down, into the water. The stage is not very large, and is about two Giga Bowser sizes wide. In the background, the puddle of Goop ripples and pulsates, and the Goopy Piranha appears as a hazard, from time to time. A crowd of Pinatas is gathered around the Goop, and the island seems slightly shook up by the strange stuff. Seagulls fly around the stage as well.

Goopy Piranha |
Every once and a while, a Pinata will shout, "LOOK!", and the Goopy Piranha will rise. The crowd in the background will scream, and all the Pinatas will hide away. The Goopy Piranha can strike the stage by ramming with it's head. If you are in between the palm trees, you are within range of the Goopy Piranha's attack. It does about 9%.
