Toadette’s Music Room was a board from the game, “Mario Party DS.” On this board, a musical note would replace the star, with each asking for its own price in return for a star. Many of the original hazards on the board would involve various musical instruments. For example, on a ? Mark space on a piano, the player would be required to play the notes correctly in order to earn coins. Two horns would blow the player to the space before the Musical Note, and if the players landed on one of the two large drums, a Hammer Bro. would smash the players right on back to the starting point.
In the Story Mode of Mario Party DS, Toadette intercepts the tiny heroes as they are on their way to Bowser’s Castle, in order to help her reclaim her Music Room from Hammer Bro, as the Hammer Bro. was making a mess of her instruments. The player with the most Stars at the end of the board would get the chance to battle Hammer Bro in the mini game Hammer Chime. Once Hammer Bro. was defeated, Toadette would give the player a Sky Crystal.

Layout
The main feature of the stage is the massive Piano placed directly in the middle of the stage. Players fight on the keys, as well as the music stand over top. On the right side of the stage, there is a drum kit set up, although not in the typical style. The drums are all lined up, from largest to smallest. The drums platforms are bouncy, and provide more air if a player jumps off of them, sort of like a Springboard Jump. Behind the drums, players can see various musical instruments and music sheets scattered across the floor, damaged. On the left side of the piano, there is a bottomless pit, which players can be KOed in.

Hazards
Hazard #1:
Drums |
The drums on the right side of the stage, as mentioned above, are bouncy. They provide an extra spring in players’ jumps if they bounce upon each drum. Players are able to attack the drums, which will rip the delicate frame over top, and provide an extra pit for KOing. The drums are repaired after about a minute of being destroyed.

Hazard #2:
Piano Keys |
Although not really a hazard, when the players are battling on the piano, if they step on a note, its sound will play. The noise coming from the piano will get louder if a player is smashed into the keys.
