The Hidden Garden was a Challenge Mode stage in the game, “Pikmin 2.” The original stage featured no harmful enemies, and only 2 Bulbmin were available as minions. It was the twenty-third level of Pikmin 2’s Challenge Mode. The stage seems to take place in a sewer.
Layout of the Stage: The stage is basically flat, with some bottomless pits on either side of the main stage. There are various plants scattered throughout the foreground and background, which provide some platforms. There are roots along the ground of the main stage, which create some raised terrain for players to stand upon. Also, with plants that grow in the background, there are leaves that stretch into the foreground, serving as platforms behaving similarly to the leaf platforms in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl stage, Distant Planet. Also, in the centre of the stage, there is a wide dip, which has a small trickle of water coming from a pipe in the background. This dip is about one Kirby deep, and may overflow occasionally (see Hazard 1).

Hazards
Hazard #1:
Pipe Flood |
Occasionally, the pipe in the background will increase in the amount of water that it dishes out into the foreground, which will impede the players’ movement through the stage if they attempt to walk through it. This flood in water has little effect on the battle, since the water will not drown the players. The flood will gradually decrease into a trickle after about 15 seconds.

Hazard #2:
Weather Conditions |
From the sewer grate at the top of the stage, the players can see various weather conditions and day/night changes. These changes are purely cosmetic, and have no effect on the battle. The changes in day/night are based upon the system clock, and the weather effects are randomly selected.
