The Temple of Time is the sanctified gateway between Hyrule and the Sacred Realm. When the Master Sword was infused into the Pedestal of Time, it sealed the portal between Hyrule and the Sacred Realm, where the ancient Triforce lies. It is said that only the Hero of Time may enter the secret chambers of the temple and draw the Master Sword. The Temple of Time is one of Hyrule's most ancient edifices and the ancient Sages aided in its construction long ago. It is possible that its construction was also aided by the Oocca.
Within the temple stands a sacred altar which bears inscribed instructions to opening the Door of Time, which leads to the Master Sword. The inscription reads that the person needs to have possession of all three Spiritual Stones, stand with the Ocarina of Time and play the Song of Time. The Temple of Time is connected to the Temple of Light, which resides within the Sacred Realm.

Players battle within the confines of the temple. The temple's floating floor and four platforms above serve as the fighting grounds. The stage is also modeled after the Twilight Princess dungeon version, where there's more to worry about than in the Ocarina of Time version. The platforms are arranged evenly with two on the left side of the stage and two on the right, parallel to each other. The two lower platforms are held up by small stone pillars which can be broken, causing the platforms to crash to the ground. They'll repair themselves after about 10-15 seconds. The upper two platforms are connected to a scale, so when the contents on one platform is heavier than the other, it'll cause them to shift in favor of the heavier platform.
The stage's background shows the more of the dungeon, as the battle is fought completely indoors. The intricate and ancient design of the temple will leave the unwariest of players to lose concentration on the fight at hand. Before Darknut or Armogohma attack the stage as their hazards play through, they'll show signs of their appearances by pumping themselves up in the background, taunting the players before they attack.

Hazards

|
Hazard #1:
|
Darknut |
When a Darknut attacks the stage, he'll first appear in the background and taunt players as he prepares for battle. When the Darknut enters the main portion of the stage, he'll use his large sword and various sword techniques to deal damage on random players. He can also dodge and block many attacks with his shield and quickness. As Darknut takes damage, pieces of its armor will shatter and fall off, revealing chain mail underneath and lowering his defenses. He'll retreat after 30 seconds of battling, but if he's defeated before then, he'll disappear and leave his sword behind.

Hazard #2:
|
Darknut's Sword |
Darknut's Sword only appears on the stage after a Darknut is successfully defeated. The sword increases the players attack speed and is also powerful. The size of the blade serves it well, giving its attacks a long reach and also weighing the player down a bit.

Hazard #3:
|
Twilit Arachnid: Armogohma |
Armogohma doesn't actually come completely onto the stage, but instead attacks from the near background. Armogohma can attack in a variety of different methods. She can shoot fiery lasers from the single eye on her back, giving an opportunity for a counter attack. She can also quickly lay dozens of eggs that hatch into Baby Gohmas. They'll storm the stage and damage anyone close enough to them, but can be easily defeated by almost any kind of attack. After Armogohma's eye is damaged enough, it's body will be destroyed it's eye will be revealed to be a small spider itself. It'll then appear on the stage and attempt to attack players itself, but can be destroyed relatively easily.
