Smashville 2
Updated - March 5, 2011

At the beginning of all of the Animal Crossing series games, the Player will move into a Town also known as a Village where the entire game will take place. In this Town, there are many Buildings, most of which are home to villagers, who are, as the name of the series suggests, all Animals. Other buildings include Tom Nook's Store, The Able Sisters, and some buildings which are exclusive to certain games, like the Post Office and the Town Hall, which seems to take the place of the Post Office. Also, there is the Police Station, which is replaced by the Town Gate. There is also a Bus Stop in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Layout
The stage's layout is similar to the version found in Smash Bros. Brawl. A long, main platform appears in the center of the stage, floating above the village. A thin platform moves side to side above the main one, passing by the sides of the platform on either side. A new feature is that a small creek appears in the center of the stage, which is deep enough for players to swim in.
Hazards
Hazard #1: Fish Random fish appear in the water in the center, including Catfish, Pond Smelts, Bluegills, and Goldfish. They'll jump out of the water at different intervals. The larger the fish, the harder they can hit opponents when they jump out.
Hazard #2: Bugs Bugs appear on the stage as well, mainly including Cicadas on the trees in the near background which can fly across the stage and hit opponents for minor damage. Bees can swarm players when their hive falls from a tree, causing combo damage on them. Banded Dragonflies and Emperor Cicadas can cause the most damage out of all the insects.
Hazard #3: Gulliver's Saucer Gulliver will fly across the stage every now and then in his flying saucer, which will stop in the center of the stage and serve as a floating platform for the next thirty seconds before flying off the opposite side of the screen. If Gulliver's Saucer takes more than 35% damage, then it'll spin out of control and crash into the ground before disappearing.
Hazard #4: Balloons Balloons will float across the stage every once in awhile dangling a random item from them, such as a piece of Food, a Beam Sword, an Ice Flower, or anything else that qualifies as an item. Attacking a balloon will cause it to pop and drop the item to the ground.
