Haven City is a dystopian city-state in the Jak and Daxter universe. The city acts as a prominent location in most of the Jak and Daxter series.
Haven City was founded by the legendary hero, Mar, who constructed the Eco shield wall and hid the fabled Precursor Stone in his tomb to protect it from the Metal Heads. Mar also built a massive weapon powered by the Precursor Stone to crack open the Metal Head Nest, but he died before he could use it. Mar was buried under the city with the stone in a huge mausoleum. His descendants continued to rule Haven City for hundreds of years, until King Damas came to power. Damas was overthrown by his lieutenant Baron Praxis, who banished him to the Wasteland. Damas's son, Mar, the rightful heir to the throne of Haven City, was kidnapped by Count Veger.

Layout
Players fight outside the palace within the confines of Haven City. The ground of the stage is relatively flat with shortly sloped edges and is roughly the same size as Onett in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Two long, thin platforms exist above the ground connected to the palace in the background, one platform over the other. The stage is pretty straight-forward, but the real danger lies in the hazards.

Hazards
Hazard #1:
The Krimzon Guard |
The Krimzon Guard is the city's police force. Occassionally a lone Krimzon Guard officer will patrol across either one of the thin platforms, or the main ground. If struck, the officer will fly into action and retaliate immediately, firing missiles at the purpetrator, each hitting for between 4%-10% damage. After 4 missiles, the officer will cease and fly off the screen.

Hazard #2:
The War for Haven City |
After every three minutes on the stage, Count Veger will appear on the stage along with KG Death Bots and attack the palace in the background and any players in their way using missiles, blasters, and mortar-launchers. After about 30 seconds of repeated attacking on the palace, it will collapse and the group of rebels will disappear under the rubble. After another three minutes, the palace will begin rebuilding itself over the following three and a half minutes and the cycle will loop, taking ten minutes to complete an entire cycle.
