Forsaken Fortress

The Forsaken Fortress is located in the far Northwest quadrant of the Great Sea in The Wind Waker, and it is where Ganondorf has constructed his temporary lair by using a portal from Hyrule under the sea. It's an ominous island, and most people tend to avoid it. The stone fortress is well-guarded with cannons, searchlights, and hordes of Miniblins, Bokoblins, and Moblins, who patrol and attack any would-be invaders. The Helmaroc King has made his home on the Forsaken Fortress as Ganondorf's servant. It was also the place where Link's sister, Aryll, was held prisoner, along with Mila and Maggie.
During his first visit, Link was catapulted to the fortress by Tetra and her crew. Upon landing, he loses his sword and is left with only his shield to defend himself. In order to reach the room where Aryll is being held, he must travel to each tower and use Boko Sticks to defeat the Bokoblins operating the searchlights. Once he is outside the room where Aryll is being held, he gets his sword back and fights a shielded Bokoblin. Before Link is able to save his sister and the other girls, the Helmaroc King swoops in, grabs Link with his beak, and brings him before Ganondorf. Ganondorf then tells the bird to discard him, ergo his rescue attempt failed and Link ends up unconscious in the Great Sea.
Tetra briefly mentions to Link that the fortress previously belonged to another clan of pirates. This may refer to the Gerudo tribe. This would make the Forsaken Fortress the Great Sea version of the Gerudo Fortress. Additionally, the eye and teardrop symbol of the Sheikah tribe can be seen on the ship perched atop the Fortress.

Hazards
Hazard #1:
Helmaroc King |
The Helmaroc King makes an occassion appearance on the stage as its most dangerous and significant hazard. The Helmaroc King will perform one of three attacks when it appears on the stage. First, it'll land on the stage and smash its beak into the ground in an attempt to damage a player. If the Helmaroc King misses, its beak will get stuck in the ground and leave it open to attacks. Second, the Helmaroc King will fly across the stage, scraping its claws on the ground trying to run players down. And lastly, the Helmaroc King will fly above the stage and flap its wings as it attempts to blow players off the stage. The Helmaroc King can be defeated by depleting its 200HP health, but will reappear in its ussual cycle within 5 minutes.

Hazard #2:
Spotlights |
The spotlights will shine on the stage every once in a while and drift back and forth across the main platform, stopping when they spot a player and firing a bomb at them before continuing on. Each bomb strike causes between 5%-8% damage but doesn't cause much knockback.
Hazard #3:
Bokoblins |
Bokoblins are frequent threats on this stage, appearing often but only one at a time. Bokoblins are fairly weak and will attack any player they spot with a feeble sword. They can easily be overpowered and defeated by taking more than 10% damage, disappearing and leaving their sword behind for other players to pick up and use. Each swing of their sword causes between 3%-6% damage, regardless of who swings it.
