The first stage in the hero storyline of Sonic Adventure 2 being playable by Sonic the Hedgehog. This stage takes place in Central City, the capital city of the United Federations. After Sonic escapes from a G.U.N. helicopter flying over the city, he must outrun the pursuit of the miltary organization, which is accusing him of stealing a Chaos Emerald from a national bank. In truth, Shadow had stolen it and they mistook him for the blue hedgehog. After grinding down the streets on a piece of the helicopter, Sonic meets Omochao, who guides him through his escape from the city.

This stage is comprised of a solid ground tilted on a 45 degree slope that stretches from one side of the screen to the other. At the peak of this street is a blast zone, while at the bottom is a short leveled area that leads up to the right blast zone. The only flat platforms are a series of three passable ledges arranged over the hill in a straight, diagonal line. There are no buildings present in the foreground for ease of seeing the action, and the background is full of skyscrapers and other such buildings right up to the near background.

Number Name Image Short Description
Hazard #1   G.U.N. Truck   The G.U.N. Truck is a large big rig seen in Sonic Adventure 2. In this stage, this large truck acts very similar to how it did in that game as well. When the truck's loud horn is heard, it's the warning that it'll soon make an appearance on the stage. After a brief second, it can be heard barrelling down the street across the stage from the left side down to the right before careening off the stage. To avoid this hazard, all players must jump over the vehicle from the upper platforms. If a player is struck by the G.U.N. Truck, they'll take 30% to 40% damage and recieve a fair amount of knockback. This hazard will only occur once about every 1-2 minutes.
Hazard #2   F-6t Big Foot   The F-6t Big Foot is a G.U.N. weapon that is manned by a soldier of the military. It's armed with a pair of missile launchers. When the phase "Enemy mech Bigfoot detected!" is heard, that's the warning that this mechanical robot is on its way onto the stage. When it appears, it'll target a random player and begin firing upon them, using its missile launchers to shoot twin rockets that will home-in on its target. These missiles cannot travel through platforms and will detonate if they hit anything or are struck. Each missile can deal 10% damage to anything or anyone they come into contact with. The Big Foot mech will retreat after 30 seconds, but can be destroyed if it takes 20% damage to its cockpit. It'll make an appearance once every minute or so.
