Shellder
Updated - May 14, 2009

Shellder are water type Pokemon who become Closters when exposed to a Water Stone. Shellders are also essential in the evolution of a Slowpoke to a Slowbro. In order for it to be a Slowbro, Shellder must latch onto the tail of the Slowpoke in question. The two Pokemon effectively become one, but if Shellder ever lets go of the tail, it will revert to its old form and the Slowbro will de-evolve back into Slowpoke. How any of this is possible is still a mystery to all the Pokemon Professors.
