Metapod is a bug type Pokemon who bursts from his shell as a Butterfree at level 10. Metapod in general only have one means to defend themselves, and that is to use harden to make their shell harder than usual. This does not protect them very much as their insides are still very soft. Their helplessness is why they evolve to their final form so quickly.

Attack Description
Metapod uses Harden and flashes silver twice. After that Metapod will stay in place for 15 seconds unless someone picks him up. If picked up, Metapod can be thrown at an enemy. Metapod can only be thrown a maximum of three times however and when he hits an opponent he deals out 8%-13%.
