Magnezone is a new Pokemon introduced in Diamond & Pearl as the ending link in the Magnemite family line. Evolving from a Magneton after leveling up near Mt. Coronet, Magnezone is much bigger than his previous two evolutions and like them is an Electric/Steel type Pokemon. Although it's moves are more powerful than those of the Magnemite and the Magneton, Magnezone moves slower than them due to it's increased weight. Magnezone is also the only member in it's family line to be able to learn the moves Barrier and Mirror Coat.

Attack Description
Upon being released from its pokeball, magnezone will begin to float upwards to a height of 1.5x Ganondorf's height and from that point will float up to an additional height of a single Kirby and then back down, doing so repeatedly until he disappears. Magnezone is merely an extra platform and does not physically damage anyone. Magnezone is about the size of 3/4ths of one of the breakable platforms on the Skyworld stage in Brawl and will disappear after 20 seconds.
