When this fire type Pokemon is traded to someone else while holding the item Magmarizer, Magmar evolves into Magmortar. Whenever Magmar go somewhere where the temperature is too cold for their liking, they will merely breath out fire in order to warm things up to a more tolerable level.

Magmar raises his hands above his head and the ground 1 Bowser length away in front of Magmar glows a deep red as the ground bursts upwards sending up a high stream of fire. The fire reaches as high as 2.5 Ganondorfs. If hit by these scorching hot flames, you are dealt 10%-15% damage.
