Alongside Snivy and Oshawott, it is one of the starter Pokémon of the Isshu region, able to be chosen at the beginning of Pokémon Black and White.
Tepig and its fellow Black and White starters were first revealed as silhouettes on the May 9, 2010 episode of Pokémon Sunday. They were later revealed in full in the June 2010 issue of CoroCoro.

Attack Description
Tepig will instantly inhale after making its appearance before spewing up to five small flames from its mouth that will slowly move forward and sear any opponents in front of it for 5%-10% damage. It's immune to any damage and will disappear three seconds after it attacks.
