The Dice Block appears only slightly smaller than the Metal Box. When picked up, press the standard attack button to throw the die. The die will roll a little bit, never going over the edge and whatever number winds up facing the screen is the number that on a scale of 1-10 your speed stat changes to. For example, if Bowser threw the die and got a 10, he would run as fast as Sonic. However, if Sonic rolled the die and got a 4, he would run as slow as King Dedede.
