Mini Bomb Kart
Updated - June 7, 2010

The Mini Bomb made its only appearance in Mario Kart 64. They appeared on the track during VS races and if the player drives into one, it will explode, sending that player flying into the air. They would also appear in the Battle mode if a player loses all three of their balloons in a 3-Player or 4-Player battle. That player will then be able to control the Mini Bomb Kart and try to crash into the remaining players. In the Grand Prix mode, if the player comes in 4th or below overall, as the player drives away from the celebration a Mini Bomb Kart will follow that player and crash into him/her.

General Information
Name: Mini Bomb Kart Origin: Mario Kart 64
Item Type: Throwing Release Date: December 14, 1996
How It's Used
When the Mini Bomb Kart first appears on the stage, it is stationary. If a player picks up the Mini Bomb Kart and throws it while in the air, it will travel through the air just like a normal Bob-Omb. The player chooses to throw it while on the ground, they will instead roll it along the ground in the same way they would a bowling ball. The Mini Bomb Kart will travel along the stage and will turn and travel the other way if it reaches the end of the platform (If it is on a walk-off stage, it will simply continue off the stage). If the Mini Bomb Kart touches another player, it will explode and the player will suffer 30% damage and large knock back, enough to KO players who have already suffered 40% damage. It will not explode if it touches the player that started it, but it will if that player attacks it.
