The Smash Ball is an item that allows characters to activate their ultimate attack, the Final Smash! The special attack depends on the character, but every character's Final Smash is unique, and all of them are powerful in some way. When the Smash Ball comes on the screen, you know that there will be a heated battle for it.

How It's Used
|
In order to use the item, one must hit the Smash Ball enough to break it. Whoever breaks it will glow and will be able to execute their Final Smash. However, the Smash Ball floats around the screen, and eventually floats away from the stage, so you have to be quick in order to break it and be able to perform your Final Smash.
