Ultra Bitter Spray

Ultra bitter spray is a powerful spray used by Olimar and Louie in Pikmin 2. It is created by colecting ten purple berries from the Burgeoning Spiderwort plant. When used, it will temporarily petrify an enemy. If an enemy is defeated while petrified, it will crumble to dust, leaving nothing behind but either a spray or nectar behind. This can be used to save pikmin while they are being eaten.

How It's Used
|
The spray will appear on the stage in a purple spray bottle (like the one shown at the top of the picture.) It can be picked up, and used only once. If an opponent is sprayed, he or she will be petrified. The amount of time they are petrified depends on how much damage they have taken. While petrified, they can not move, but rapidly pressing buttons and moving the control stick will reduce the amount of time they are petrified. Also, attacking the person will reduce the amount of time too. The spray can reach up to 3 Bowsers away, and can effect more than one person at once.
