The Sandvich, known in full as the Sandvich Edible Device, is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Heavy. It is half of a sandwich, consisting of two triangular slices of bread containing lettuce, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and an indeterminate meat referred to as both ham and bologna by the Heavy. Topping it is a green stuffed olive pinned to the Sandvich by a toothpick.
When the Heavy eats it, he makes unnecessarily loud noises, so he can be found quickly by the opposing team. Other than that, it heals the Heavy greatly.

How It's Used
|
When the Sandvich appears, get ready to charge for it. This combination of bread and stuff between the other slice of bread is very valuable. Once collected, the player starts eating it for 5 seconds. Every half a second, 10 percent health is regained and after finished, the player gains invincibility for 10 more seconds. But while eating, the player can be knocked out of eating and the attacker can finish the Sandvich. But if the attacker is attacked, the new attacker gets to finish the Sandvich, and so on.
