Also known as Amazee Dayzees and Legendary Crazee Dayzees, Amazy Dayzees first appear in the Flower Fields area of Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64. They are tinted golden and have an extremely high attack power, as well as some very nice drops (Honey Syrup, Maple Syrup) that are arguably worth it that late in the game. They luckily have a very low defense, but are still hard to kill as they often flee.
Works:
Paper Mario (Nintendo 64)
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo GameCube)
Super Paper Mario (Nintendo Wii)

The Amazy Dayzee will skip around genially without a single care in the world. Once an opponent nears it, it'll suddenly shift into high gear and run off in the other direction. Every once in a while it'll trip over itself, providing the player with a chance to take it down and take the rare trophy it holds. It's extremely rare, though on occasion the Dayzee will stand to fight. This isn't a very good idea on it's part, all considering it'll be standing in place singing, allow players to attack them with ease. |

Attack Method
|
As the Amazy Dayzee skips about, it'll start singing a fast but sweet song that will project black musical notes which glow a translucent rainbow-pattern around the edges from its mouth. The notes deal 5% damage per, and considering the amount of them that come out of the Dayzee's mouth in just a mere second, 2 - 3 at a time, it is certainly plenty of damage. Each note doesn't deal much knockback, but it deals a little bit of flinch that may stun the opponent for a moment or two. Once the Amazy Dayzee spots an opponent, it'll start running in the opposite directly at top speed as stated earlier, letting out an even crazier song that let's out even more notes a second, but those notes often fly in crumbled clusters so one or two may not even end up counting in the end, saying that they hit an opponent in the first place.
