The Black Snippet is only known is the world Treasure Trove Cove. It guards the Jiggy inside the Sandcastle. The Black Snippet is much like the regular Snippet, but is much stronger.

Black Snippets move just like the regular Snippets, walk around until the enemy is spotted, then face the screen and run. The Black Snippet turns over on its back and is unable to attack once it has 10% health left. |

Attack Method
|
Black Snippets also attempt to claw the enemy, just like the regular Snippet, except this time, it deals 6%-27% damage depending on difficulty. When fallen on its back, or any time it is touched for that matter, and someone touches the Black Snippet, they will take 2%-8% fire damage depending on difficulty.
