Ogre
Updated - September 12, 2010

The Ogres are recurring enemies in the Final Fantasy series of games. Typically, they are portrayed as large brutes with high attacking power and health, although are bulky and dumb. Occasionally these beasts are armed with clubs. They do not usually have any capability to perform magical attacks, but to make up for it; the Ogres are sometimes graced with the ability to counterattack.

Attack Method
The Ogre is armed with a large, wooden club which it will attack players with if provoked. When the players draw near, as mentioned in its Mode of Travel, the Ogre will attack the player by swinging its mighty club down on them. This will deal a fair bit of knockback and around 12% damage to the player. If the player attacks the Ogre, it will slowly counterattack by swinging its club in a large arc, which deals a hefty amount of knockback and 17% damage, should the attack connect.
