Possessing an IQ of 180 and fluent in six languages, including English and French, he was known as "the man who makes the impossible possible" and his exploits made him into a living legend among the military black ops. Initially a Green Beret, Snake was later inducted into High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND during the early 1990s while it was under the leadership of Big Boss. From there, Snake would thrice avert potential nuclear catastrophe, becoming a famed war hero.

Attack Details

Standard Special:
Hand Grenade (3%-8%) |
Snake takes out a simple Hand Grenade and tosses it in front of himself at a varied speed and trajectory, which is determined by the charge built up before throwing the explosive. The grenade will never explode prematurely, it'll wait until after five seconds before detonating every time. |
Side Special:
Stinger Missile (6%-11%) |
Snake takes out a sophisticated looking missile launcher and fires a Stinger Missile straight forwards at a high speed. This missile, upon impact with a target, will not cause any knockback, but instead cause the opponent to suffer a dazed affect, stunning them effectively for up to three seconds. The missile also causes moderate damage for being a projectile. |
Up Special:
Gun Cypher (1%-5%) |
Just like in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Snake will hang onto the Cypher sattelite device as it lifts him high into the sky. Only this time, a remote-controlled turret gun is mounted on it and will fire energy rounds at nearby opponents for minor damage. If Snake is attacked while recovering using the Gun Cypher, it'll be knocked from his grasps and he'll plummet to the ground. The Gun Cypher can also cause minor damage just by flying into someone. |
Down Special:
Stealth (0%) |
Snake applies his famous stealth techniques and goes completely invisible for this maneuver. While invisible, Snake can creep around and surprise his opponents from the shadows with Smash Attacks or Grab Attacks. While invisible, Snake is not invulnerable to incoming attacks, and after a while of being in Stealth, Snake will slowly begin to take damage at a steady rate. |
Final Smash
Grenade Launcher (25%-32%) |
Snake calls out for back-up as he leaps off the screen and into the foreground. Snake will be secured to a rope ladder attached to the side of a helicopter. Equipped with a powerful Grenade Launcher, Snake can then take aim at any of his on-screen opponents and fire high-explosives upon them at free will. After fifteen seconds of firing upon them, or after all ten shots are used up, Snake will be returned to the fight on foot. Each grenade strike can cause moderate damage and knockback. |
