Midna
Submitted by: DK3
November 25, 2012

Midna is an impish descendant of the Twili race who dwell in the Twilight Realm in Hyrule. Initially, Midna is unconcerned for Link's wellbeing but as he continues to help her through their adventures, she grows to appreciate the him for his assistance along the way. Prior to the events seen in Twilight Princess, Midna was overthrown from her role as leader of the Twili and cursed by Zant, which gave her the imp appearance she is best known for. After being witness to Link entering the Twilight Realm and being turned into a wolf and captured by a Shadow Beast, Midna followed Link to his prison cell in the Castle Town Sewers before helping him escape in return for his aid, thusly beginning their journey together in defeating Zant. Twili were banished long ago for their use of evil magic by the three goddesses of Hyrule after the Interloper War.

Special Moves
Attack Name Damage Details
Standard Special   Twilight Sphere 6% - 20%   Midna begins by creating a small sphere of energy that she can charge up to increase its size and strength. By releasing this ball of twilight energy, Midna will send it travelling directly forward on a straight path, unaffected by gravity. If the shadowy orb touches any terrain, its be absorbed into it and create a patch of darkness on the ground or wall that can harm players who come into contact with it. Midna cannot store this attack as certain other similar moves can be, such as Donkey Kong's Primate Punch, but this attack can be aimed in any direction. If Midna performs this attack in the air, she can hover in place until she fires her shot, however afterwards she will become groundbound.
Side Special   Vanish Attack 5% - 11%   Midna will instantly vanish as soon as this move is executed. She'll then reappear a moderate distance in the desired direction determined by the Control Stick and create a path of twilight aura connecting the two locations together. This field of twilight will either slowly harm any player who enters it, or it will cause them to fall asleep, become dazed, or even poisoned. The aura of twilight will fade away after 3 seconds of being created. After performing this move, Midna will become groundbound.
Up Special   Particle Port 3% - 7%   Midna will break apart into particles of twilight matter which will then travel in a desirable direction chosen by the Control Stick before reassembling as herself a great distance away. For every particle that travels through an opponent, they will take half a damage. The total amount will be rounded down after being added up. There are a random total of between 12-18 particle every time Midna ports. If any of the particles are destroyed by enemy attacks or stage hazards, the distance Midna will travel with the move will be shortened by a small amount accordingly.
Down Special   Fused Transform 0%   Midna will take of a shard of Fused Twilight before porting in Wolf Link and mounting his back. The more this move is used however, the longer it takes Midna to port Wolf Link into the fight. If Midna is attacked while attempting to bring the wolf into battle, the move will be cancelled and Midna will have to try again. The lengthened transform time will be reset on a new stock.
Final Smash   Twilight Princess 28% - 42%   When Midna activates her Final Smash, the Mirror of Twilight will appear in the background of the stage, similar to Palutena during Pit's Final Smash in Brawl. Midna will then use the mirror to transform into her true form before then creating a large aura around herself, her own miniature Twilight Realm. This area will then grow pitch black and inflict moderate to heavy damage on all opponents caught in it. Afterwards, the mirror will shatter and Midna will revert back to her imp form.

Wolf Link
Submitted by: DK3
November 25, 2012

The Divine Beast of Twili legend, Wolf Link is the form Link takes after crossing over into the Twilight Realm and being affected by the twilight. Due to Link possessing the Triforce of Courage, he does not lose his physical form while in the realm of twilight like all other normal beings, instead he is transformed into a wolf. Although in this form Link loses many abilities, including the ability to use any items and his sword and shield, he also gains a few abilities exclusive to his new wolf form, such as heighten senses and being able to warp from location to location by using Twilight Portals created by Midna.

Special Moves
Attack Name Damage Details
Standard Special   Dark Energy Attack 7% - 25%   Midna will create an aura of twilight on the ground around Wolf Link and extend her hair above them. The twilight itself does not affect any opponents, but upon releasing the Special Move button, Wolf Link will dash forward through any opponents standing in the aura, one at a time. It's fairly easy to escape from and/or dodge this attack, so it's best to have the opponent stunned or sleeping first.
Side Special   Focus Fang 6% - 28%   Wolf Link will being charging the attack up before releasing the energy built up and lunging forward with a vicious bite attack. Depending on how long this move was charged up for, Wolf Link can cause as much as 28% damage and lunge a fair distance forward in the process. However, if Wolf Link charges up too much, he may stumble forward and cause minor damage to opponents in close range as a result.
Up Special   Rising Howl 4% - 10%   Wolf Link freezes in place as he begins to howl. This howl calls a whirlwind of spirits to carry him upwards. If any opponents are caught up in the ascending whirlwind, they'll be repeatedly struck for minor amounts of damage. Wolf Link's howl and rise cannot be stopped by oncoming attacks.
Down Special   Fused Transform 0%   Wolf Link howls briefly before being absorbed into the shadows of Midna, leaving just her physically on screen. This version of the move can be performed alot quicker than Midna's version of Fused Transform.
Final Smash   Wolf Spirit 34% - 48%   Upon activating Wolf Link's Final Smash, he will howl once more. This howl however, is his most powerful one, which calls for the Hero's Spirit to appear in the background in his wolf form. This gold-glowing wolf will then leap off the top of the screen before turning back into the Hero's Spirit in skeletal form and performs a powerful downward slash attack on a random opponent of Wolf Link's. Due to the spirit not being a solid being, he can travel through floors and walls with ease, leaving it very difficult for his target to dodge this quick attack.
