Jak (birthname being Mar) is one of the main characters in the Jak and Daxter series, being a title and playable character in all games in the series (with the exception of Daxter (game). From his debut in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, he has undergone many changes in his body - both internal and external - and matured into a fully grown man, with a constant thirst for some action. He is the character the player controls the most throughout the series. Daxter is the secondary character and Jak's sidekick from the Jak & Daxter video game series. He's also Jak's best friend since before The Precursor Legacy. He is technically an Ottsel, though also a Precursor.
Jak and Daxter work alot like Ice Climbers in Super Smash Bros. where the player controls the leader, in this case being Jak, and the game controls Daxter, who will follow Jak around and help fight opponents copying Jak's every move.
Works:
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PlayStation 2)
Jak II (PlayStation 2)
Jak 3 (PlayStation 2)

Attack Details
Standard Special:
Scatter Gun (1%-2%) |
Jak takes out a Scatter Gun from behind his back and unloads in a forward direction. The shots fired from this weapon are fast, but weak, short-ranged, and has a slow reload time Each shot can cause between 1% to 2% damage. |
Side Special:
Lunge Punch (4%-14%) |
Jak lunges forward quickly with his arm extended with a closed fist, causing 4%-6% damage to any opponent in his way. Before Jak comes to a complete stop, this attack can be executed a second time for a jumping uppercut combo, causing an additional 4%-8% damage. |
Up Special:
Daxter Spin (2%-8%) |
Jak grabs Daxter by the feet and spins him around rapidly repeatedly as they propel themselves into the air. Jak can then release Daxter and let him fly across the stage in the direction they were originally facing. If Daxter hits an opponent after being launched, he'll latch onto them and hit them a few times for about 3% to 5% damage each hit. |
Down Special:
Shoulder Slam (5%-10%) |
Jak will first leap forward into the air and perform a half front flip in midair which will be proceeded by slamming down on his shoulder into the ground and any opponents in the way. If Jak is already in midair when this move is used, he won't leap and will just slam straight down instead. |
Final Smash
Light Jak (?%) |
Jak grows wings and becomes a bright, hollow shell of himself for 20 seconds. In this phase, Jak and Daxter are free to fly around the stage similar to Yoshi's Super Dragon final smash. In this form, Jak can perform Flash Freeze Time that will completely freeze all Jak and Daxter's opponents in place for up to 3 seconds. Jak can also use Light Regeneration to heal himself for up to 25% damage over the next 5 seconds or until the Light Eco runs out and the final smash ends. Jak's Light Shield manuever will allow him to shield himself from all damage for 5 seconds, since they are not impervious to damage throughout the final smash. Jak can only utilize each move once per final smash however. |
