Banjo & Kazooie

Banjo is a honey bear and Kazooie is a Red-Crested Breegull. He always wears bright yellow shorts, a shark tooth necklace and a bright blue backpack. The backpack usually contains his good friend, the loud-mouthed Red-Crested Breegull Kazooie. Kazooie "adopted" Banjo some time ago, and the trouble that she attracts usually ends up coming for Banjo as well. Banjo also has a younger sister called Tooty. All three live at the base of Spiral Mountain on the Isle o' Hags. His personality is somewhat of a more lazy version of a stereotypical hillbilly. Banjo's favorite pastime is sleeping. He prefers living peacefully, very much in conflict with his Breegull friend's lifestyle. Banjo is responsible for looking after Tooty, as she often likes to wander off when he is not looking. Unlike Banjo, who is calm and mild-mannered, Kazooie is much more impulsive. She tends to argue frequently with Bottles and other side characters, and gives sarcastic commentary about the events of the game. Kazooie's attacks consist mainly of the wide variety of eggs she can launch at enemies, though she can also use her strong beak to attack on occasion.
