Dr. Robotnik (AKA Dr. Eggman) is an overweight scientist whose goal is to conquer the world and build the Eggman empire. His plots are constantly foiled by Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. With an IQ of over 300, Dr. Robotnik is able to engineer countless weapons, robots, vehicles, and bases to aid his schemes. His favorite vehicle is the Eggmobile, which Dr. Eggman has equipped with countless weapons and gadgets. Frequently, he utilizes his Eggmobile to escape death or arrest so he can hatch another plot which will inevitably fail, courtesy of Sonic.

Due to his cowardliness, Dr. Robotnik would never dream of fighting without his minions or superior technology. In Super Smash Bros., Eggman's technology of choice is the Eggmobile, which he outfitted with numerous outlandish weapons from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3D, and Sonic and Knuckles. The Eggmobile hovers just above the ground.
Dr. Eggman cannot Wall Jump, Wall Cling, Crawl, or Glide.
Eggman activates a drill on the front of the Eggmobile, which jabs his foe.
Dr. Robotnik thrusts the drill with great speed forward.
The drill speeds rapidly, each rotation dealing 1% damage.
As Dr. Eggman flies his Eggmobile across the stage, he presses a button and he zooms twice as fast, dealing damage to anything the Eggmobile collides with.
Dr. Robotnik's adversary is smacked by a mallet.
Dr. Eggman activates a crane that carries Mega Muck. He will then use the crane to fling the Mega Muck forward.
The Eggmobile drops a mine which explodes when anyone goes near it, including Eggman himself.
Dr. Eggman activates a turbine which summons a whirlpool that engulfs his foe.
Eggman flips the Eggmobile upside-down and launches a rocket from its bottom.
Dr. Robotnik pilots his Eggmobile so that it quickly smashes into the ground several times.
Eggman fires a mix of lava and fire from his Eggmobile, which homes in on any target within a short distance.
Forward Wrecking Ball
Dr. Robotnik hangs a wrecking ball on a chain from his Eggmobile and swings it forward.
Backward Wrecking Ball
Dr. Eggman hangs a wrecking ball on a chain from his Eggmobile and swings it backward.
Dr. Eggman generates a powerful electric field that shrouds the Eggmobile and lifts it up slightly.
A sharp spike protrudes from the bottom of the Eggmobile and Eggman plunges downward, stabbing anything below.
A yellow claw comes out of the Eggmobile and grabs Eggman's adversary.
The entire Eggmobile crackles with electricity, dealing steady damage to Dr. Eggman's captured opponent.
The claw throws Eggman's adversary forward and promptly smacks them away with a mallet.
The claw flings Dr. Robotnik's foe backwards and they are covered in the exhaust coming out of the Eggmobile.
Eggman tosses his foe upward and then blasts them with a flamethrower from the Eggmobile.
The claw slams Eggman's foe into the ground and Dr. Robotnik drives his Eggmobile right on top of them.
Missile Launcher Eggmobile
Dr. Eggman fires a missile from one of the two turrets that appear on the underside of the Eggmobile.
4% - 12%
Dr. Eggman pulls out one of three Badniks are flings it forward. The Newtrons immediately become partially camouflaged and fires a pulse of energy whenever someone comes near. This deals 12% damage. Also, the Buzz Bombers fly around and fire an orb of energy whenever Eggman's adversaries gets too close. Finally, the Crabmeats scuttle around and then shoot energy from their pincers seconds later. The Crabmeats are common, the Buzz Bombers are uncommon, and the Newtrons are rare.
Eggman activates the rocket boosters on the bottom of the Eggmobile, pushing it upward. He can even steer it left or right. After about five seconds, the rocket boosters run out of fuel and Dr. Robotnik is forced to land.
4% - 8%
Several explosive snowmen fall out of the Eggmobile as Dr. Robotnik fires vaporizers both forward and backward. Being hit by a vaporizer deals 4% damage, while getting caught in a snowman's explosion deals 8% damage.
Dr. Eggman speedily zooms around in the Eggmobile, rebuilding his famous Death Egg. This construction takes about three seconds and the Death Egg takes up most of the stage. Afterwards, Dr. Robotnik glances behind him and assumes a frightened expression. He presses a big red button and flies off the screen, just as the Death Egg is consumed in a violent series of explosions. Anyone in the area of the blast will receive 35% damage accompanied by moderate knockback.
