Tifa is one of the party members from Final Fantasy VII. In the game, she was a childhood friend of Cloud’s, and helped work with the resistance group AVALANCHE to take down Shinra, the main villainous group of the game, and when Sephiroth, who killed her father, resurfaced, more powerful than ever, her, Cloud, and the other party members teamed to take him down and save the planet. She is also more of a straight-forward brawler than most of her allies, preferring punches and kicks to weapons, though she occasionally uses magic to enhance her attacks. In Final Fantasy VII, she is one of the more optimistic characters, and she tries to keep people’s spirits up despite the situations, and she is very shy to express her true feelings. Tifa also runs a bar/restaurant part-time called 7th Heaven, serving as a home base for many of the party members.

Special Moves
Attack Name Damage Details
Standard Special   Beat Rush 5% - 30%   Tifa does a combo of various punches ending with a straight forward kick, depending on how the control stick is tilted. This is similar to Marth’s Dancing Blade move, and can go for about half of Final Destination with five punches and a kick before ending if the first punch connects.
Side Special   Meteor Strike 10% - 15%   Tifa charges forward with fire surrounding her for about 3 Stage Builder blocks before either stopping or slamming into her opponent, knocking them slightly upward into the air, then leaping up slightly, grabbing them, and slamming them into the ground.
Up Special   Dolphin Blow 5% - 17%   Tifa does a powerful uppercut with a watery effect trailing it that can send opponents upward for about 3 extra jumps before she knocks them away slightly afterwards, leaving them both in free-fall. If no enemy is around, this can just be used for decent recovery at 1 extra jump.
Down Special   Waterkick 3% - 11%   Tifa kicks forward a small wave of water that starts at about as tall as 3 Kirbies and as wide as 1 ˝ Kirbies, travelling for about 2 ˝ Stage Builder blocks before stopping, crashing downwards before disappearing. This can combo and rack up damage slightly, and deals good knockback to the opponents and can stun them for about 2 seconds afterwards.
Final Smash   Final Heaven 10% - 60%   A slot machine style thing appears at the top of the screen as Tifa rushes forward. If B is pressed at the right time, all the slots stop with all three saying “YEAH!” as she punches forward with an explosion that charges to about the size of the Smart Bomb explosion, though charging 2X faster. If she doesn’t press it at the right time, but she hits someone, the slots will just say “HIT” while she performs a slightly stronger kick than usual. If her attack doesn’t connect with anyone at all, the slots will all just say “MISS.” This is a risky move to pull off, but the pay-off can be pretty good.
