Kojuro Katakura is a very loyal retainer of Masamune Date. Though he serves his master, he is also a brother-like figure to Masamune. He speaks in battle as if he were a yakuza. When Matsunaga injured Date, Kojuro made it his vow to get the Date clan's fine treasures back. After defeating Matsunaga, the warlord blew himself up in his gunpowder. In SB3, he is a minor character still serving Masamune in his army.

Standard Special:
Moon Crescent (6%) |
Kojuro raises his sword high into the air, quickly moves it to his right side for 0.30 seconds then Kojuro swings his katana left sending out a lightning projectile in the shape of the descent moon. During the projectile firing, Kojuro shouts "Fry in hell!" If this crescent lightning manages to make contact, the opponent who doesn't see it coming will get shocked by 6% of damage. During the shock, you can see your opponent's skeleton flashing. If Kojuro does it again, he can knock his opponent away. |
Side Special:
Piercing Moon (4%-11%) |
Kojuro takes his katana and shoots himself right for his opponent with his sword ready to pierce into his opponent. When this dash attack hits, the opponent is knocked off balance by 4% of damage. A normal pressed B would have Kojuro dash 2 Peaches forward. You can charge up the attack to make Kojuro's dash much stronger. A charged attack will have Kojuro go an extra Peach forward and do 11% knocking his opponent away. |
Up Special:
Sparkling Moon (4%-9%) |
Kojuro swings his sword upwards. If an opponent doesn't get out of the way in time, Kojuro cuts his opponent under the chin and sends his opponent almost sky high with 4% of damage done. If B is pressed again, Kojuro will follow after his opponent and do another swing that knocks his opponent far away with 9% of damage dealt. Timing this move is the key to mastering this technique in combat. This can leave a total of 13% of damage if Kojuro succeeds with this attack. |
Down Special:
Mist Cutting Moon (3%-8%) |
Kojuro sticks his katana into the ground hard enough to release an electric shockwave that stuns and shocks opponents. Kojuro will then take out his secondary katana and swings it in a circle sending his opponents packing the bad way. After his attack, Kojuro sheathes his secondary sword and takes his primary one back out of the ground. the first hit does 35 while the seconds does 8%. This leaves the opponent with 11% total if Kojuro does it right. |

Narukami (34%) |
Kojuro takes his katana in both hands and raises it high while lightning comes off as he says "Inside utter darkness only one light shines!" then thrusts his katana forward sending out a ball of electricity the size of Giant Kirby.
