Blockhead
Updated - February 15, 2010

A Blockhead is a sentient stone monolith whose sole purpose is to bar passage along the path it guards. The Blockheads claim to never attack first because it is considered to be brutish. Nevertheless, a Blockhead can be seen attacking the Celestials during one of the story sequences concerning the Ark of Yamato.

They are impervious to normal damage. The only way to defeat a Blockhead is to attack its weak points, which appear in a specific order along an invisible 4x4 grid when you headbutt it. These points must be re-dotted with the celestial brush in the same order to destroy the Blockhead. If this is done incorrectly, the Blockhead hurls rocks in front of it, although Amaterasu can easily avoid them by leaping away. Every Blockhead will change the location and order of its weak points with every fresh headbutt, although its total number of points will not change.

In 'The Cursed Lands' story by Jonno, the first Blockhead appears in Crimea Castle in an attempt to stop Ike from getting any closer to the main gate. There are three other Blockheads to be seen throughout the rest of the story.
