Salvo the Slime

Salvo the Slime is the boss of World 1 in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Salvo is a Lemon Drop that was transformed into a Slime by Kamek. Salvo jumps at the player, trying to push him or her into a lava pit below his arena, though unlike most enemies, the player is not hurt by Salvo's touch. Unlike most Slimes, Salvo cannot disguise himself as a box. However, unlike most Slimes, Lemon Drops break off of Salvo when he is hit by an egg. The more Salvo is hit, the smaller he gets, until he disappears altogether.

Fight Details
|
After Salvo forms from a puddle of slime, he'll begin hopping around similar to how he does in Yoshi's Island. After every time he's attacked he'll lose part of his collection of slime, spawning smaller slimes that can be easily defeated. The smaller slimes only have 5% health.

Attack #1:
|
Slime Puddle (Easy-Intense) |
Every time Salvo lands on the ground he leaves behind a whitish puddle of slime on the ground that will slow the player's movement speed and jumping capabilities and cause 3% damage every second while standing in it. The slime will dry up after 7 seconds.

Attack #2:
|
Slime Bomb (Easy-Medium) |
Salvo ejects a bomb comprised entirely of slime that'll splash into the ground creating an additional Slime Puddle. If the player is hit by the Slime Bomb they'll take 15% damage and causes medium knockback.

Attack #3:
|
Double Slime Bomb (Hard-Intense) |
This attack is similar to his Slime Bomb attack except he ejects two Slime Bombs simultaneously. The Slime Bombs cause 25%-30% damage with this move.

Attack #4:
|
Slime Wad (Intense) |
Salvo the Slime shoots a Slime Wad into the air that travels off the top of the screen before slime begins to drip down from the sky all over the screen. Touching this dripping slime will cause 4%-6% and minor knockback.
