Fight Details
Buga the Knut is a very large boss, similar in size to Galleom or Duon in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is also very slow due to his size and walks across the arena with a stomping motion, shaking the screen with each step. His weapon of choice to attack players is his massive bone club. When damaged, Buga will sustain absolutely no knockback at all, due in part to his obvious weight. When any player gets behind him, it'll take him a few seconds to take notice and turn around. The arena is very similar to the area the fight takes place in Conker's Bad Fur Day, a very large, prehistoric colosseum surrounded by a moat of lava and grandstands filled with cheering Uga Bugas.
Attacks
Attack #1: Bone Club Sweep (Easy-Intense) Buga will grab his bone club with both his hands and extend it forward across the ground before proceeding to sweep it along the ground as he spins in place. On harder difficulties, Buga will execute this attack much quicker, but the damage output will stay the same, about 15%-25% damage each hit.
Attack #2: Bone Club Slam (Easy-Intense) Buga will throw his bone club back over his head while grasping it in both hands. He'll then slam it forward into the ground creating a large shockwave effect that'll ripple across the stage out from the point of impact. This shockwave will always cause 20%-35% damage on any difficulty, but on harder difficulties, the shockwave's size and speed will increase.
Attack #3: Uga Buga Soldiers (Hard-Intense) On Hard through Intense difficulties only, Buga will call for some of his caveman minions to jump into the arena and attack the player(s). Some Uga Bugas will attack from a short distance using stone clubs and maces causing about 2%-5% damage per swing, while others will attack from a distance using spears causing 4%-6% damage each hit. Each Uga Buga soldier can be defeated quite easily after depleting their 10HP health.
Attack #4: Fangy (Very Hard-Intense) Only on Very Hard and Intense difficulties will players ever see Fangy the dinosaur enter the arena, simply because unlike in Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live and Reloaded, the player(s) don't have the valuable use of Context Sensative in Super Smash Bros, so they cannot befriend Fangy and use him against Buga the Knut. Fangy will enter the arena permanently after around 30 seconds into the fight and act as a mini-boss. Buga the Knut will still be the main focus during the battle, but Fangy will be attacking as well using headbutts and chomps causing roughly 10%-25% damage each hit. Fangy has 200HP on Very Hard and 300HP on Intense, but defeating him is not required to beat Buga the Knut himself.
