The Happy Mask Salesman is traveling collector and seller of many strange and mystical masks. Whenever you see a Mask in a Zelda game, odds are that either the Happy Mask Salesman once held it in his hands, or that he will very soon. In Majora's Mask the Happy Mask Salesman subtely hints to Link that he may just be more than a mask enthusiast. These hints along with how unique and mysterious he is, coupled with some strange powers that he seems to have, has given rise to many theories as to who the Happy Mask Salesman truly is. Some of these theories are that the Happy Mask Salesman is actually a descendant of the Sheikah tribe, that he is in truth a diety or that he may actually be the in-game avatar of Shigeru Miyamoto.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64)

Assistance Description
|
The Happy Mask Salesman will slowly wander about the stage for 10 seconds. If hit by an attack where the offender is far away, the Happy Mask Salesman will stamp his feet on the ground and grunt in frustration. However if the Happy Mask Salesman is hit by an attack with the attacker being next to him the Happy Mask Salesman will go berserk on them and attack them with his fists and he may even beat them with one of his precious masks. The Happy Mask Salesman can do 3%-4% damage with each hit.
