An enigma of a man, Godot is a coffee obsessed prosecutor who from October of 2018 until February 2019 went head to head against Phoenix Wright in multiple cases where he would consistently mispronounce his name in a mocking manner. Due to an incident in the past that really messed with his sight, Godot now wears a visor over his eyes that allows him to see. However Godot is unable to see the color red which has proven to be an issue in his court cases with Phoenix Wright. In one instance Godot was unable to see the ketchup stains on the apron of the defendant. His true identity a secret, it isn't until his last case against Phoenix where his true identity is revealed and his connection to Phoenix's former mentor Mia Fey finally unveiled.

Assistance Description
|
A clip of Godot's theme, Fragrance of Dark Coffee, will begin to play as Godot emerges from the Assist Trophy. Godot arrives drinking that thing he loves most, coffee. Godot will continue to drink his coffee for the next ten seconds, during which his theme music will continue to play. If an opponent arrives within Godot's direct line of sight either in front of him, or behind him, He will spit out his current sip of coffee and will hurl his coffee cup at them. The coffee cup will splash whoever it hits with scalding hot coffee which will deal 6%-12%. If the coffee cup hits anything other than a player it will merely shatter with no additional effect. After the coffee cup has hit something (or flown off the side of the screen), Godot will pull out another cup of coffee, take a sip, and will vanish off the screen as Fragrance of Dark Coffee fades out.
