Whatevers are enemies in Mother 3. They are a form of chimera apparently combined from the head of a mole and robot legs, their brains exposed through the glass dome covering their scalps. Whatevers can be encountered in battle in Thunder Tower. A strange aspect of Whatevers is that they pause after you approach them, stare at you, and a quick word bubble with a heart in it pops up over there heads. To fight them, you must press A in front of them.

Assistance Description
|
Whatevers simply mill about the stage, doing nothing. If one walks in front of a character, it will look up at them and a heart will appear over their head. You can't walk through them, and if you try, they get angry and use PK Thunder on you. PK Thunder is like a fast lightening strike that does around 14% damage, leaving a hidden threat behind these creatures. If you walk away, the heart breaks in two and it walks away.
