Weeds in the Animal Crossing series resemble small clumps of grass that change colour according to the seasons. Three new weeds appear in the Player's town each day, and have to be pulled up to prevent the town becoming unsightly. Weeds have a negative impact on the town's environment, and if weeds are not pulled for a long time, a rafflesia will appear, attracting flies and further lowering the town's environment. Another form of weed is the clover.

Animal Crossing (GameCube)
