Mother Brain is a recurring antagonist and boss in the Metroid series. She's a cold artificial intelligence who was made by the Chozo, but turned against them when the Space Pirates and Ridley invaded Zebes. Mother Brain saw potential in the pirates and decided that with them helping, she could bring true order to the universe by "reseting everything back to zero". Mother Brain was seen as a main antagonist in Metroid, Super Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission.

Assistance Description
|
Mother Brain appears, life support wires connected to the stage. If Mother Brain is touched, the person who touched Mother Brain takes 10% and a short amount of dizziness upon landing, due to Mother Brain's powerful psychic abilities. Turrets and walls spring up around the stage, blocking and obstructing things. Then the turrets start firing machine gun rounds and the walls begin producing Rinka, those Spaghetti-O-like laser things that came out of the walls in the original Mother Brain boss fight. The Rinka fly slowly, and can fly through walls. They don't do to much damage though, about 5% per Rinka hit. There are a lot of Rinka however. The turrets can cause up to 20% in one clip, but they seldom use a whole clip before reloading. After about 1 minute of this slow attack, Mother Brain dies, and becomes pale, falling to the ground.
A second later, Mother Brain rises again, in the mechanical beast form from Super Metroid. In this form, Mother Brain is no longer immobile, an can walk around, however slowly. Mother Brain can spit bombs of purple smoke which do about 9%, along with poison, a claw scratch that does about 25%, but is short-ranged. A final attack that concludes the whole secnario is the Hyper Beam. Mother Brain will fire a flashing ray of light that expands as it moves farther. If hit by this, you will suffer at least 100% damage. Mother Brain then vanishes, replacing the current music with the Metroid escape theme.
