A giant-lipped, pink enemy with a bandage that appears out of certain mystery boxes in Yoshi's Story. They shoot giant gusts of wind at Yoshi, but they can be stopped by hitting them with an egg to the bandage.

|
When anyone, including the summoner, nears the mystery box that drops to the ground when the assist trophy shatters, Air Bag will pop its head outside of the box and start shooting huge gusts of wind at opponents. The gusts carry opponents for at least 3 seconds before disappearing, making Air Bag extremely useful on smaller stages, such as Yoshi's Island, Battlefield, Mario Circuit, and WarioWare, Inc. in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Like with Toon Zelda's Deku Leaf Spinner, Air Bag's gusts can be dodged by simply rolling out of the way, but once you get caught in a gust, it'll be hard to squirm your way out of it. Staying true to Air Bag's first and only appearance before "Super Smash Bros. Mercurious: Jonno Edition", Air Bag will disappear if an opponent hits it bandage, making for an interesting game of 'Air Bag Defense' every once in a while. Air Bag will disappear after 10 seconds if its bandage is not attacked.
