Professor E. Gadd
Updated - May 30, 2010

Professor E. Gadd is featured both directly and indirectly (the latter through his inventions) beginning with the GameCube Mario series titles. He also cameos in a couple of the RPG Mario titles. He has invented various items to assist Mario and Luigi, such as F.L.U.D.D. for Mario in Super Mario Sunshine, (where he is mentioned, but not seen.) the Poltergust 3000 and Game Boy Horror for Luigi in Luigi's Mansion. An invention he created, but was later used to hinder Mario was Bowser JR.'s Magic Paintbrush.

In the RPG titles, E. Gadd has invented Stuffwell; a magic talking suitcase capable of storing various items that the Mario Bros. have collected. E. Gadd also owns a coffee shop in one of the RPGs, called Starbeans Cafe.

In Mario Party 6, E. Gadd got his own board, named "E. Gadd's Garage".

General Information
Assistance Type: Physical / Indirect Origin: Luigi's Mansion
Chance of Appearance: Uncommon Date of Origin: November 18, 2001
Assistance Description
After being summoned from an Assist Trophy, E. Gadd hops into Luigi's Poltergust 4000 kart from Mario Kart DS and drives across the stage. The kart also has an added function; being able to either create a tornado at a certain point on the stage, shoot out a ghost, or vacuum in an opponent. The last of the three is the least likely, as E. Gadd would stop, and leave the player helpless, and open to attacks. Being driven over by E. Gadd will deal moderate damage and knockback.
